CHRISTMAS ALREADY?!?

Wow, Christmas? Where has the year gone? Haha well ive been super busy from school, to soccer to just being a teenager! I did take some pictures along the way! So hopefully I can fill you in! I go to a Tuesday night church service thing with my friends, and we have a ton of fun! Here ya go:

WOW, how come i havent blogged??

I am soo sorry you guys! I haven't blogged in like, forever have i? well a lot has gone on! I had a ton of soccer! I hurt my knee, got two turf burns (by the way they really hurt), and we were finalist in our last tournament!! That's amazing! Did i mention that we played teams that were a year older than us? Well, for them they were, just not me because i am an eighth grader and the other teammates are seventh graders. There's actually a girl that is older than me on my team. I'll give her credits too!
sorry, i don't have any pictures for you! I need to get a camera and take pictures! Anybody want to help buy me a camera?? haha well i would take pictures with it! Lauren, Beth and I, my friends from church, already have an idea for next years Starving to Serve! It's a great way to raise money to build soup kitchens in south Africa and a lot of other places in the world! Well everybody gets the choice if they want to do an airband or not, and we might do one! It's gonna be on Barbie girl! We'll be dressed up as dolls and dance around! Sorry about not blogging!

Hey sorry for not blogging! I kept telling you that I will be blogging about Fresno soon, but I guess that wasn't true! I've been busy for the end of school! My teacher made us make a book (literally) from each person. Our whole class had to read the same book and then we had to write certain papers for a page of the book. We have the same exact type of papers in each of our books, but we just have different writing. It's a way to show how much we've learned. To be honest, I really haven't learned a lot.
In the month of June, I get to take soccer off! You can still go to optional practices in Escondido though. I go to every single optional practice because I'm trying to be as good as everybody else! We have some amazing players on our team! It's crazy how much they are dedicated to soccer, and I am trying to be too. I was playing arena and i got pushed against the wall and I fell on the ground. I have to tell you before you die of laughter that it was on turf. Right under turf is concrete. Who's laughin now??? haha I'm just kidding. It is pretty funny.
I'm really excited for summer! I want to go to the movies, to the wave, the beach, knotts berry farm, knotts soak city, wild rivers, and etc! I am just so excited! Okay well I'm gonna go now because I have to go to church and tell beth happy birthday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY BETH YOU THIRTEEN YEAR OLD!!

I went to Louisiana!!

Hey! First of all, I did go to Louisiana, but just last weekend, I went to Fresno. I don't think we have picture though.. I'll check. I don't have pictures right now, but I'm sure I will...
Okay I just recently went to Louisiana to see Kylie (my sister) play softball at her college. I've gone so many places to watch her play! Like you have recently read about, we went to San Jose. Then we went to Louisiana and then we went to Fresno with my best friend, Beth! I'll tell you about that later as soon as I get pictures! :/
We had so much fun! It was extremely hot and we were sweating at all times, but it was rainy! That's Louisiana for you! Well, I still like it there! The smell is amazing! You know how you have the smell of beach air in California? Salt flies all around your nose? It is definitely refreshing, but there's a different type of refreshing in Louisiana! Everything is so clean! What I mean by that is there's way less pollution there! I think it smells different because you can always smell the amazing smell of wet as fault after there's a rain shower! Even people in California know what that smells like, but it's totally different in Louisiana! The scenery ties it all together! Check this out!
That, is downtown Ruston! The whole city is practically like that! It's amazing! Have you ever seen anything like that in Vista?? I don't think you have with all of those trees and wonderful blue skies! You had to be there! The wind was blowing in your face, just the best eeling in the world! People were driving by us honking and waving at us! Everybody was just so nice! That is Louisiana! There's a bar in Louisiana and a country singer wrote a song about it! It's amazing!

This is probably my favorite picture! You haven't seen Ruston until you've seen its forests and trains The trains go on for miles! If you get stopped in your car from one, I'm sorry. Haha actually... it's not that bad. It may take a couple minutes for it to pass, but it is just beautiful! It goes through many states! You just wonder what different types of things it carries!
Back to the song... The song, Neon Moon by Brooks and Dunn is the song i was talking about! I love it! There's the lyrics in it! Read them and I hope you like the song! I sure do! Sorry I haven't Written in a while...

Hey sorry I haven't written in a while. I was at San Jose watching my sister play softball. She has been going to Louisiana Tech College in, well, you guess where it is. :) Whenever she comes over to the west half of the US, we usually try to be there and see her!By the way, that picture I took is of my sister playing in San Jose! She's so good it's almost amazing! You can tell she will hit it can't you? Well she did! She got a double. She got all the way to third, but she sort of stole that base. But still, that was an awesome at bat and she just kept on hitting it! Even if she struck out, I thought she was really good because she would strive for any ball. Sometimes it's hard to hit the ball with the umpire's funky strike zone! ;)

Kylie was really good at fielding too. She was always down and ready for anything that would unexpectedly come her way. Went the ball was hit ti her, she would throw it as fast and accurately as she could to the right person to get them out! The position she was playing, second base, was really hard on her knee, but she didn't complain! She just worked and worked until she was able to go off the field!

She rolled her ankle, but she never complained. She got taken off the field and she actually wanted to keep playing! Yeah, that's my sister; strong, independent, reliable, and sometimes random.
I love her for that! Love ya KY!

God Blesses Us with things we take for granted

Today, we had a speaker talk to our school. She told us how careful we have to be with our bodies in cars, bicycle, and etc. You never know when there will be an accident in a car. She told us not to call them accidents because, would a drunk driver say to a family who he killed their daughter, "It was an accident. I'm sorry." No. He had the choice to get drunk or not, a choice to go to that friend's home, a choice to go to that party. He had a choice to choose those type of friends. Is that an accident? Nope, not at any time is it an accident. The lady that talked to us told us that she was paralyzed from the waist down. She broke her vertebra in a car accident because she didn't have her seat belt on. That also caused her little sister to get killed from head trauma right next to her. The girl went to the hospital, being paralyzed all around. The only way to communicate was blinking; one blink for yes, two blinks for no. This showed me how fortunate we are to have our legs move, our eyes blinking, our fingers fiddling. God gives us all of the fantastic abilities and we take them for granted. Have you ever seen anybody in a wheelchair? They can't go to the bathroom by themselves, they can't walk. Walking is such a great ability. I lets us run and kick and play too! we need to thank God for that! He gives us the ability to take pictures, to smile. That one move of a finger to press that little button on a camera, some people can't do that. Some people have breathing disabilities. Some people won't live as long as us. Us as Christians need to not only help people without the abilities that we have, but thank and praise God for what he does for us.

God is AMAZING with what he does and just we need to rejoice that and use his abilities. He gave you your own special ability; NOBODY else has that and you need to show God through that ability. Please remember that. So... ya I guess what I'm trying toi say is we're SO fortunate with what we have and we cannot take that granted. Embrace it!!

Hey!

Hey! Just this morning, my friend, Ben posted a FANTASTIC blog about God and how great he is. Well, I'm going to tell you a story that helps me rely more on God.
Well everybody at my school is wearing makeup. My parents don't let me wear makeup and to be honest, I don't want to wear makeup. Plus, when everybody wears makeup, everybody looks the same. I don't wanna look the same as other people. And whenever I don't feel pretty or perfect, I always look up my favorite verse in the Bible talking about all of God's daughters. It uplifts me so much and is just such an inspiration:
Psalm 45:10-11
Listen, daughter, pay attention and consider: forget you people and your father's house, and the king will desire your beauty. Bow down to him, for he is your lord.
Wow
That is all I can say. This is such a STRONG and POWERFUL verse! It's pretty much saying to forget about everything in your life even your father's home because the king, Jesus Christ, wants to desire your beauty! He thinks that I am so beautiful because he made me and he wants to see his masterpiece!
That to me is my absolute favorite verse! Thank you for reading God Bless.
Whoops i almost forgot, my black eye became a good use for the Lord. People will ask what happened and I'll say that I got hit with a dodge ball at church. I'm hoping that people will think. "You can play dodge ball oat your church?" So that's how I can embrace my Chritianity and it's really true that
God has a reason for EVERYTHING. :)

Soccer

Hey! Hows life? I know mine's good! I had soccer try-outs for my soccer team. There has been a really bad confusion lately: I play on a AA-A team, but I'm getting recruited onto a Premier team. This is why I'm telling you this...
The coach for the Premier team, Holland, has been watching me play for a while. He let me practice with his team every chance I had. Two months ago, he said that I was on his team, but to tell NOBODY. My coach, Kim, didn't even know! So I had to keep my mouth SHUT!!!
So today I had try-outs for my team that I play on right now; Kim's team. I still had to try out because nobody knew that I had gone onto Holland's team. So I was playing forward and then I cut by all of the girl and shot the ball. Holland yelled "That's why you're on my team next year!" with his British accent,"Go on!" I couldn't believe it! He spilled the beans!
So after, when I was on the sidelines, everybody came up to me and yelling. I couldn't believe it! They were furious! Well they asked me a ton of questions like why I'd ever want to be on Hollands team and I'd only be sitting on the bench the whole time. The only answer I could find was "I need to get better if I want to be good." So everybody is mad at me, but I'm okay with it. I'm doing the right thing. Moving up to a premier team. I don't care if I have to sit on the bench all game, I'm getting better just by practicing with them! So I'm not going to listen to the complaints my teammates have. I do feel bad for them, but I have to do this if I want to get better!
Well, school try outs are coming up. I'm gonna be ready for them! Ahh! So exciting! Hopefully I do well and not score a goal on my own team this time! well wish me luck! Bye!!

you missed winter retreat!

Hey amigos! I just recently went to my church's winter retreat! It was AMAZING! You guys missed out! First of all, we got to go to hotel rooms for the weekend and stay there! We then went to the Believe Conference and had an awesome time there! It was about the coolest thing i ever went to! They had worship, a guy who spoke, skateboarders, and comedy guys!
worship: worship was amazing! They had these really good singers and great band play songs we knew and we learned! They got us totally into it! They had lights and fog and the music blasting! It was practically a mini concert! I was amazing!
the speaker: the speaker was so cool! He totally related to a ton of us and got junior highers so well! He didn't make it boring by going on... and on... and on... but he cracked some jokes here and there, and said some important words. The biggest message was that we need to be the Messiah's kingdom workers! We need to do something that helps the world no matter what your age!
skateboarders: these skateboarders were amazing! They had little mini videos on how they glorify the Messiah through skateboarding and it was so cool! They would go on stage during songs and skateboard in the mini skateboarding park! I loved it!
321comedy: these improv. comedy guys were awesome! They are named 321comedy because they are three guys glorifying one God. It is so cool how even comedy can be something to glorify God! They did a bunch of improv. jokes and bits and they were a crack up! I loved them too!
Knotts Berry Farm! The next day, we went to Knotts Berry Farm and had a ton of fun! I overcame my fear of roaller coasters too! I'm so glad too because I love them now! Except for the ones that drop straight down like supreme scream if you know what that is. I loved it so much and I just want to sayu thank you to all of my friends even if some of them aren't reading this right now, that they helped me go on almost every ride! Thank you so much for believing in me! God Bless!

AMAZING! That whole trip overall, was AMAZING! It was an increadible experience and it's probably a once in a lifetime chance! I really thank all of my friends for everything that they do for me even though some of them didn't go to the Winter Retreat and went to the winter ball instead, but I just thank you for everything! Thank you for being there with me through ups and downs and I will do so for you too! Love ya all!

Las Vegas here we come!

I'm so excited for this weekend! I'm GOING TO LAS VEGAS! You guys are all probably thinking, why would she want to randomly go to Las Vegas? I don't. It's for a soccer tournament! The only bad thing is we have to drive... but... it's only 5 hours. No biggie. I have driven to Louisiana before, only having stops for the bathroom. Overall, it took 32 hours to get there. Seem like a lot? Well try being crammed in a back seat for that long! Geese! Well, wish me luck in my tournament! Thanks! Bye!

Sleepover!

Hey what's up? I think you know who I am. If not, I'm Camille. This weekend, I don't have any soccer, so I'm going to take advantage of it! I'm having my friend, Shauny from school, come over! We are going to have a fun time! I'm not sure what we're going to do, but I'm sure it'll be fun! Haha well I cleaned up my WHOLE ENTIRE ROOM for it!

Hey! I'm sorry I haven't really updated in a while, my computer broke! OKay sooo... did you guys make new year goals? I know I did! The best way to remember them is to write them down and put them on your binder or something! If you don't want to do that... you can just keep it hidden somewhere in your room! As long as you don't throw it away! My goals are to do well in school and get an A in language arts. Ms. Rocha, my teacher, is totally hard and totally strict! I deal with it though. I know that when I'm older, she'd made me a stronger person. I've learned that everybody is entitled to their own opinions and you don't have to believe what people think even though they say things like, "If you don't think ____ you're stupid!" Well I think that's stupid, but that's just my opinion! :)
Another one of my goals is to make new friends! That always should be a goal shouldn't it? Making new friends is very good, but just make sure you choose the right ones! If you choose an emo friend, you're most likely to become emo! It's really easy to become a friend! Just say hi and if they don't like you, walk away! haha well, we all know it doesn't really go that way, but I think we all know how it really goes!
My next goal is to stay on the team that I was just greeted into. I hope they are nice teammates and I hope I fit in! It will be hard because they are all sixth graders, but not that hard! I just have to be careful!
My final goal is to write more songs! If you do not know, I absolutely LOVE to sing! I also write songs and sing them for my friends, but only my close ones because I am VERY shy! I write songs about everything but mostly love. Those are the easiest ones. ;) I hope that someday somebody will discover me or at least one of my songs because I try so hard to write them!
